ULearn conference
Over the past 10 years, CORE Education has run and supported more than 30 major conference events that encompass work that is essential to the transformation of leadership and learning in New Zealand schools. ULearn is the largest of these conferences, catering for up to 2,000 educators from all school levels from both New Zealand and overseas, .
A key focus at ULearn is on the "teachers for teachers" stream of our programmes where we aim to deliver the best of current educational practice - enabling schools to develop transforming learning and teaching practice with, by, and through ICT. Educators investigate innovation and successful practice in schools and focus on the development of vision, goals, practices, and programmes that reflect the needs of the 21st Century learner.
Each year the EDtalks team record all of the keynotes and spotlight presentations and publish them in the ULearn channel. We also film a collection of 20 to 30 interviews with speakers, leaders and conference delegates, and these too are all available in the ULearn channel on EDtalks. The record goes back several years, and includes dozens of valuable and though-provoking talks, ranging from ideas for integrating technologies to leading whole school change.
