The Hon. Anne Tolley, Minister of Education, addressed the 2010 Education Leaders Forum in Auckland on October 21st, and outlined some of the government's priorities for education. The Minister emphasised the critical role played by education leaders, and outlined three areas in particular; National Standards, the reshaping of the Ministry, and raising the level of teacher professionalism.
